COLLABORATOR STUDIOS goes through every stage of production, from working with top level talent on both sides of the camera, to editing and VFX, delivering you high-quality finished content. Here's how we go about it.
OUR PROCESS
DEVELOPMENT
Collaborator Studios works closely with you to help define your content needs and find creative solutions to communicate your message. This is a creative and fact finding phase, where we learn about your vision and goals. Aspects of this are; application of your video, what you want to convey, your timeline and budget. With this information we then create a pitch deck and present you one or more concepts with rough budgets. From here the magic happens as we move to preproduction.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Timeline and budget are determined and approved for production, down payment on production is made. Final script, boards, and assets are created. Production schedule is determined, and crew, equipment, locations and cast are secured.
PRODUCTION
Here's where the rubber meets the road. In the Production phase our assembled team goes into action to execute the plan and create the content. After each shoot, the raw footage is captured and delivered to the editor, who prepares the content for Post Production.
POST PRODUCTION
The raw footage is organized by the editor and prepared for the creative post production process. Here we choose the music, either licensing existing work or using a composer to create an original score. Voice over, sound effects, motion graphics and any additional pick up shots are assembled, and a rough cut of the video is prepared for client review. The rough cut provides a first draft of the video and give us an opportunity to refine and enhance the edit through discussions with the client. A fine cut is then created, including color-correction, titles and final audio mix. The fine cut is reviewed by client and discussed with Collaborator Studios. The fine cut is approved and you receive final deliverables.
